How to Use Your Digital Planner

Device Compatibility

Our digital planners are designed for use on iPad and Android tablets that support PDF annotation.

Recommended devices:

  • iPad (any model that supports Apple Pencil)

  • Android tablets with stylus support

Stylus recommended:

  • Apple Pencil (1st or 2nd generation)

  • Compatible stylus for Android tablets

A stylus is not required, but it greatly improves your experience.


Required Apps (Important)

To write, type, and save changes, you’ll need a PDF annotation app.

Recommended apps:

  • GoodNotes (iPad – highly recommended)

  • Notability (iPad)

  • Noteshelf (iPad or Android)

  • Xodo (iPad & Android – free option)

⚠️ The planner will not function properly in:

  • Apple Books

  • Preview apps

  • Browsers (Safari, Chrome)

These apps are view-only and do not save edits.


How to Use the Planner Digitally

  1. Download the planner PDF after purchase

  2. Open your PDF annotation app

  3. Import the planner into the app

  4. Use your stylus or keyboard to:

    • Write in fields

    • Track expenses/progress

    • Update totals

    • Set monthly goals

  5. Your changes save automatically inside the app

You can reuse the planner year after year by duplicating the file.


💡 Helpful Tips for Best Results

  • Turn on palm rejection in your app for smoother writing

  • Use duplicate pages for extra notes

  • Zoom in when entering numbers for accuracy

  • Back up your planner using iCloud or Google Drive
